Temporary Service Disruption
The Ophthalmological Society of South Africa (OSSA) has urged all ophthalmologists to cease providing all treatment other than urgent and emergency care with immediate effect.
Our practice is going to adhere to these guidelines to safeguard the health of our patients, staff and the community at large.
For the next two weeks, we will be seeing only urgent and emergency cases in this practice. All elective appointments and surgery will be postponed for two weeks.
We are all available via telephone 0218536475 and email info@theeyecentre.co.za for all queries.
If you are not sure whether your problem is urgent or not, please contact us via telephone or email.
We ask all patients with symptoms suspected of being caused by the virus to remain at home and contact the COVID response hotline on 0800029999.
We are monitoring the COVID alerts regularly and will continue to follow the guidelines recommended by the relevant regulatory bodies and authorities.
We wish you strength and courage during this very difficult time.
Best wishes from all at The Eye Centre.
